Overview
We are seeking a skilled Labourer/Driver to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will possess a diverse range of practical skills, including carpentry, roofing, plumbing, masonry, welding, and electrical experience. This role involves assisting with various construction projects, operating hand and power tools, and safely transporting materials and equipment to different sites. Responsibilities
- Assisting with carpentry, roofing, masonry, painting and construction tasks as required.
- Operating hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently to support construction activities..
- Loading, transporting, and unloading materials and equipment using company vehicles or lorries.
- Ensuring all work areas are maintained in a clean and safe condition in compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Supporting team members in completing projects on time and to high standards.
- Assisting with site organisation.
- Adhering to all safety protocols during transportation and on-site activities.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in carpentry, roofing, masonry, work is preferred.
- Competence in using hand tools and power tools safely.
- Valid driving licence with a clean driving record and willingness to travel is essential for the driving component of the role.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Strong organisational skills with attention to detail.
- Physical fitness to handle manual labour tasks and operate machinery for extended periods.
