Sign Installer - City Signs & Display Ltd

Due to continued growth and the successful award of new contracts for 2026, City Signs & Display Ltd is looking to recruit experienced Sign Installers to join our expanding installation team.
As a well-established signage and display specialist, we deliver high-quality signage solutions for retail, commercial, leisure, and corporate clients nationwide. We are seeking motivated individuals who take pride in their work and have experience installing a variety of signage products projects across the UK.
Key Responsibilities
- Install a wide range of signage products, including:
- Illuminated signage
- Built-up letters
- Fascia signs
- Vinyl graphics
- Window manifestations
- Totems and wayfinding signage
- Internal and external branding displays
- Work safely and efficiently on client sites throughout the UK.
- Read and interpret technical drawings, site surveys, and installation specifications.
- Use hand tools, power tools, access equipment, and specialist fixing systems.
- Carry out electrical connections for illuminated signage where required.
- Remove, replace, and maintain existing signage.
- Complete post-installation inspections to ensure all work meets company and client standards.
- Record site information, installation details, and any project issues accurately.
- Work closely with project managers, surveyors, and fellow installation team members.
- Ensure full compliance with company health and safety procedures.
Requirements
- Previous experience within the signage industry is essential.
- Experience installing illuminated signs, vinyl graphics, built-up lettering, fascias, and wayfinding signage.
- Strong practical skills and experience using hand and power tools.
- Ability to work safely at height using access equipment.
- Knowledge of electrical systems relating to illuminated signage.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and installation specifications.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality installations.
- Positive attitude, reliability, and excellent teamwork skills.
- Full UK driving licence essential.
Preferred Qualifications
The following certifications would be advantageous but are not essential:
- CSCS Card
- IPAF Licence
- PASMA Certificate
- SPA Passport
- First Aid Qualification
