Skylink Lifts Ltd are looking for a full-time member of staff for an exciting agile working opportunity.
The role is for a Trainee Lift Engineer based locally to our warehouse in Mirfield. The role will involve dismantling lift equipment, but no engineering experience is necessary as full training will be provided. The applicant must be comfortable driving long distances and driving within city centres.
Job Role Requirements:
· Minimum of 4 years driving experience required
· Must hold a driving licence with no more than 3 points and no current convictions or endorsements
· Must be over 25 (it is a requirement for our fleet insurance policy)
· Applicant is required to stay overnight in paid accommodation once or twice per week within the UK when required (generous food/drink allowance provided)
· Basic tool knowledge is advantageous but not essential
· DBS check and full driving licence check is required for the role should you be successful
· Heavy lifting is a requirement – guidance will be provided but applicant must be physically capable

Additional info: Working days are Mon-Fri. Hours are varied depending on work schedules, but basic 40 hour hours per week. Overtime at time and a third will be paid on top of the basic £25,500 starting salary. Salary review will be conducted after the successful completion of initial training and 3 month probation period. Weekend work is offered on occasion but not mandatory. Basic annual leave entitlement is 28 days including bank holidays.
