Building Surveyor
(Unit 4 – Middlefields Industrial Estate)
£41,771 pa with the addition of a temporary Market Forces Supplement of £3,418 pa (This supplement is awarded in recognition of current market conditions and is subject to review)
A vacancy has arisen for a Building Surveyor in the New Build and Major Works Team. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a forward-thinking team dedicated to delivering high-quality services to our residents and creating a positive, supportive working environment for our staff. We are looking for a motivated and skilled professional who shares our commitment to excellence and innovation in housing and property services.
As a Building Surveyor, your responsibilities will include supporting the delivery of a wide range of construction projects across both the domestic and commercial sectors. This will involve:
- Producing job packages and cost estimates for new build and planned maintenance programmes.
- Managing reactive repair and maintenance works.
- Overseeing minor works projects.
- Liaising with procured subcontractors to ensure quality and timely delivery.
We are looking for a proactive and skilled professional who is passionate about delivering high-quality services and contributing to the improvement of our housing and property assets. We are enthusiastic about delivering high quality services and strive to deliver improved quality services to our customers, whilst ensuring the compliance of our housing portfolio. We are particularly interested in individuals with an electrical background, as this expertise will be valuable in supporting the diverse range of projects undertaken by the department.
