Anglia Freight is seeking a skilled and adept Fork Lift Operator to join our yard team to assist with the freight sortation and vehicle loading processes.
Pay and working hours:
50 hour contracts
Monday to Friday - 10am - 8pm
£12.85p/h basic hours, overtime paid at £13.80 p/h, and £15.80 p/h on Saturdays (an additional £2.35 per hour for hours worked between 8pm and 6am)
Duties to include:
- Work within our strict Health and Safety policy
- Assist in the safe loading and unloading of vehicles
- Ensure that all freight moved on site is labelled correctly
- To liaise effectively with supervisors and managers, and other colleagues
- Shunting of vehicles
- Assisting with warehouse forklift work
Skills:
- Counterbalance Forklift Licence
- Excellent communication skills
- Highly accurate
- Ability to pay close attention to detail
- Thorough task completer
- High levels of self-motivation and ability to work as a team
