About Us: At Berwick Service Station, we are a small, friendly, and independent garage that prides itself on delivering excellent customer service and high-quality workmanship. Our team is dedicated to keeping vehicles running smoothly for our loyal customers. We are looking for a qualified MOT Tester and Technicians.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct MOT testing in line with current regulations and ensure vehicles meet required safety standards
- Perform routine maintenance, including oil changes, brake checks, and tyre replacements
- Provide accurate reports and advice to customers on vehicle health and required work
- Identify vehicle faults, advise and carry out necessary repairs
- Ensure all work is completed to a high safety and quality standard
- Maintain a clean and organised MOT bay and workshop area
Desirable Skills and Qualifications:
- Valid MOT Tester licence
- Full UK driving licence
- Previous experience working as an MOT Tester or Technician
- Strong attention to detail and knowledge of DVSA testing standards
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Good communication skills
- Experience with a wide range of vehicle makes and models however this is not essential
- Ability to assist with all areas of the workshop
