We are looking for a skilled and motivated Electrician to join our expanding team. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced professional with a strong background in domestic and commercial electrical installations, inspection and testing, and renewable energy systems.
The successful candidate will work on a variety of projects, including electrical installations, inspection and testing, remedial works, solar PV systems, battery storage installations, and electrical containment. We are looking for someone who takes pride in their workmanship, has excellent technical knowledge, and is committed to delivering high standards of safety and customer service.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out Electrical Installation Condition Reports (EICRs) in domestic and commercial properties.
- Inspect, test, and certify new and existing electrical installations in accordance with current regulations.
- Diagnose electrical faults and carry out remedial works where required.
- Install, maintain, and commission electrical installations in domestic and commercial environments.
- Install and maintain solar PV and battery storage systems for both residential and commercial clients.
- Install containment systems, including tray, trunking, conduit, basket, and cable management systems.
- Read and interpret electrical drawings and specifications.
- Complete all certification and documentation accurately using digital certification software.
- Ensure all work complies with BS 7671 Wiring Regulations and current Health & Safety legislation.
- Provide a professional and courteous service to customers at all times.
- Work independently and as part of a team to deliver projects safely, efficiently, and to a high standard.
Essential Requirements
- NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation (or equivalent).
- 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (BS 7671).
- City & Guilds 2391-52 (or equivalent Inspection & Testing qualification).
- Proven experience carrying out inspection and testing in both domestic and commercial environments.
- Experience installing and commissioning electrical installations in domestic and commercial properties.
- Experience working with solar PV and battery storage systems.
- Experience installing electrical containment systems, including conduit, trunking, tray, basket, and cable management.
- Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills.
- Full UK driving licence.
- Excellent communication skills and a professional attitude.
- Ability to work independently while maintaining high standards of workmanship and safety.
Desirable Qualifications
- ECS Gold Card.
- Solar PV installation qualifications.
- Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) experience.
- EV charger installation experience.
- IPAF and/or PASMA certification.
- First Aid at Work qualification.

Pay: £20.00-£23.00 per hour
