Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and efficient Barista to join our vibrant team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about delivering excellent customer service and creating high-quality beverages. This role involves preparing and serving a variety of coffee based drinks, ice cream etc..The successful applicant will have a keen eye for detail, good organisational skills, and the ability to work well under pressure. Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a range of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, tea, and specialised drinks, ensuring consistency and quality.
- Assist customers with menu selections, answer questions about products, and provide exceptional customer service.
- Handle cash transactions accurately using the till system, including processing payments and giving change.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of workstations, including cleaning equipment, utensils, and serving areas in accordance with food safety standards.
- Restock supplies as needed to ensure smooth operation during shifts.
- Follow health and safety procedures diligently, including proper food handling and hygiene practices.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient service during busy periods.
Experience
- Previous barista experience is essential, you will be asked to make a coffee as part of your interview.
- Knowledge of food safety standards is advantageous.
- Experience in serving customers in a fast-paced environment is preferred.
- Basic food preparation skills are beneficial for assisting with light food items.
- Good time management skills are essential to handle multiple tasks efficiently during busy hours.
