Duties
- Assist in planning and leading worship services, prayer meetings, and religious ceremonies to create engaging spiritual experiences.
- Provide pastoral care and counseling to congregation members, including those facing personal challenges or grief.
- Support youth and children’s ministries by developing age-appropriate teaching materials and mentoring young members.
- Collaborate with church leadership on outreach initiatives, community events, and fundraising efforts to expand the church’s impact.
- Offer guidance and mentorship to new members and volunteers to foster a supportive church environment.
- Participate in hospice care visits or ministries that provide comfort to individuals in end-of-life situations.
- Help coordinate educational programs, Bible studies, and spiritual workshops that promote faith development.
Requirements
- Proven experience in teaching religious education or leading faith-based groups with enthusiasm and clarity.
- Strong leadership qualities with the ability to motivate and inspire others within the congregation.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively connect with diverse age groups and backgrounds.
- Experience working with children or youth in a religious or community setting is highly desirable.
- Demonstrated ability to mentor others through spiritual guidance and personal support.
- Knowledge of hospice care principles or experience providing compassionate support during difficult times is a plus.
- Ability to participate actively in fundraising activities and community outreach programs.
