Job Overview
A reliable, fit and practical person is sought to assist with providing a welcoming, clean and safe environment for this purpose-built, independent living scheme for older adults.
You will be responsible for cleaning all communal spaces to a high standard on a daily basis and helping the two managers, if requested, with resident matters. Residents are capable of independent living. You will set up and clear after coffee mornings and other modest events. The scheme is well maintained with 30 flats over three floors. Some basic maintenance would be helpful.
The role is 20 hours per week, ideally 4 over days, starting either between 8.30 and 9 or from 11 and 12 noon, to be mutually agreed. Some flexibility will be required and given. Paid holiday rises with service, employer pension and a DBS check are provided.
The number 23 bus stops just outside Addison Court or Guildford London Road rail station is a 15-minute walk. There is some on street parking or a bike store. Starting hourly rate £14.75, review in January.
