Commercial Account Handler / Insurance Broker: Norwich, Norfolk : £25,000 to £40,000: This vacancy comes with a very competitive package
We are looking to recruit a passionate, driven and ambitious Account Handler to join our clients talented team of Insurance professional based in Norwich Norfolk.
You'll ensure our clients receive suitable and cost-effective insurance solutions by understanding their needs and negotiating with insurers to find the best solutions
The Role:
Working closely with Client Executives to understand the client needs, including supporting meetings as required. You will manage renewals, new and mid-term policy work as required - negotiating with insureres to obtain appropriate and cost effective solutions for clients.
The successful candidate will also keep electronic files up to date and maintain an understanding of the general insurance market and changes within the sector
Skills and Experience Required:
This role is a great opportunity for someone who is a few years into their insurance career and wants to develop further with the support of a friendly, knowledgeable and experienced team.
- At least 2 years' experience working in insurance, specifically in commercial lines and across a range of products
- At least Cert CII qualification or willing to work towards
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Computer skills including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Ability to multi-task and manage time effectively - Good attention to detail
- Be a good team player whilst also having an independent problem solving approach to work
- A good level of education
- Ideally, you will have a working knowledge of Acturis.
