About the client:
Our client is a well-established Manufacturing Company located in Northwich. They are recognised for delivering high standards of patient care and for creating a supportive, professional working environment. The practice places great importance on maintaining a clean, safe, and well-organised setting for both patients and staff. They are now seeking a reliable and proactive Caretaker to help keep the premises in excellent condition.
Hours of work: Monday-Friday between the hours of 08.00 – 14.00 or Mon – Fri or Mon -Thurs 08.00 – 15.30 – Total hrs 30 hrs per week
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Carry out basic repairs and general maintenance around the premises.
- Repaint or touch up walls, doors, and other areas as needed.
- Replace light bulbs and ensure lighting is in good working order.
- Fix or replace door handles, locks, and other small fittings.
- Move, assemble, and arrange furniture or equipment as required.
- Ensure external areas are tidy and free from hazards.
- Report any major repair needs to the appropriate person or contractor.
- Assist site representative as and when required.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a caretaker, maintenance, or similar role.
- Basic skills in painting, minor repairs, and general maintenance.
- Ability to work independently and manage tasks effectively.
- Physically fit to carry out manual handling duties such as moving furniture.
- A proactive approach to keeping the premises safe and well-maintained.
