Barnes Brinkcraft are looking for reliable, hard-working people to join our boat preparation and housekeeping team in Hoveton.
This is a hands-on, physically active role preparing our holiday boats to a high standard for guests arriving on the Norfolk Broads. We are particularly looking for applicants with previous cleaning or housekeeping experience who are genuinely seeking regular ongoing work.
We can offer work ranging from Saturdays only through to up to 4 days per week during the main boating season.
The Role
You’ll work as part of a friendly team preparing our holiday boats for arriving guests, including:
- Cleaning boat interiors to a high standard
- Changing over boats between holidays
- Restocking and preparing boats for guests
- Moving cleaning supplies and equipment between boats
This is an active role involving getting on and off boats throughout the day, lifting and carrying equipment, bending, stretching and working at a steady pace.
Holiday boat changeovers are time-sensitive, so reliability and punctuality are extremely important.

Applicants can choose to work:
- Saturdays only or
- Up to 4 days per week
Regular Saturday availability throughout the boating season is essential.
Hours
- Weekdays: 9:00am – 3:00pm.
- Saturdays: 9:00am – 4:00pm
Some flexibility may be possible for school drop-offs.
Pay
£12.85 per hour
