Sterling Ventures UK Ltd is recruiting a dedicated and hardworking Warehouse Operatives and warehouse operatives with a valid forklift licence for our Cash & Carry B2B Warehouse in Stirchley, Birmingham.
Key Responsibilities
· Operating Counterbalance and Bendi forklifts safely and efficiently for forklift operatives.
· Loading and unloading deliveries.
· Managing incoming and outgoing goods.
· Picking, packing, and preparing customer orders accurately.
· Shelving, replenishing, and rotating stock.
· Carrying out stock counts and inventory checks.
· Assisting customers and delivery drivers when required.
· Carrying out manual handling and heavy lifting duties.
· Using warehouse scanners and basic computer systems.
· Maintaining a clean, organised, and safe working environment.
· Following all company health and safety procedures.
Working Hours
Monday to Friday: 8:00 am – 5:00 pm
Sunday: 9:30 am – 1:30 pm
Requirements
· For Forklift operatives valid Counterbalance and Bendi Truck forklift licences are essential.
· For Forklift operatives Minimum one year's experience operating Counterbalance and Bendi forklifts.
· Experience operating an electric 3-way pallet stacker would be an advantage.
· Previous warehouse experience in goods handling.
· Ability to carry out manual handling and heavy lifting duties.
· Physically fit to undertake warehouse duties.
· Good spoken and written English.
· Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel.
· Good organisational and teamwork skills.
· Reliable, punctual, and hardworking.
· Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
· Flexibility to work weekends on a rota basis.
· Customer service experience is desirable.
