We’re looking for a Finance Business Partner to join a dynamic, commercially focused finance team in a role with real visibility across the business. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys getting hands-on, partnering with stakeholders and using financial insight to support better commercial decisions.
This is an exciting opportunity to step into, you’ll play a key role in the preparation of monthly management reporting packs, variance analysis, revenue and margin review, and business partnering activities. You will also support initiatives that drive growth, improve financial processes and strengthen the quality of reporting across the organisation.

Job Title: Finance Business Partner
Salary: up to £60,000
Location: Nelson or Cheadle
Hours of work: Monday to Friday 8:30/9:00 – 17:00/17:30 (37.5 hours)
As a Finance Business Partner you will:

Prepare and present accurate monthly management reporting packs, providing clear insight into business performance, key drivers, trends and variances.

Perform detailed financial and commercial analysis across products, channels and cost areas, identifying risks and opportunities to support effective decision making.

Support the month end close process, including journals, accruals, prepayments and key balance sheet reconciliations, investigating discrepancies and maintaining robust financial records.

Prepare and support key regulatory and statutory reporting requirements, including quarterly VAT returns, FCA reporting and payment practices submissions.

Support finance projects, process improvements and change initiatives, using financial insight to strengthen controls, improve efficiency and enhance business performance.

Assist the Finance Manager with year-end audit activity, including preparation of statutory reporting schedules and liaison with external auditors to resolve queries.

Part Qualified accountant (CIMA,ACCA,ACA).

Advanced MS Excel and data analysis skills
