Job title: General Labourer (Landfill Operative)

Job description: Installation of HDPE pipework and gas extraction.
No Experience is needed as all onsite training will be provided, You will be working alongside and trained up by an experienced Landfill Operative on a daily basis.
Salary: Per Week- Net £500.00 after CIS deductions - Gross £625.00 before CIS deductions.
Start date: We are looking for a candidate that is available for Immediate Start.
Hours: This is a full time position- Monday- Friday - 08:00 am- 16:30 pm-There may also be opportunities for occasional weekend work.
Location: Bletchley ( Milton Keynes)
Candidate must live within the Milton Keynes area.
Job Role: This job roll is very varied, the successful applicant would need to be hands-on, have a positive work attitude, to be reliable, forward thinking and able to find solutions to any issues that may arise when on site.
Description of main works
- The installation of methane gas collection systems
- Butt fusion
- Electro fusion
- Rehydration of Bentonite seal
- Roding and dipping of wells.
- Monitoring of Gas Wells.
- The Lowering and raising of HDPE wells
- Pulling of pumps
- General repair and maintenance
Academic or trade qualifications
- Full Current driving licence is required
- Not essential-Valid CSCS card or equivalent
- Not essential-Machinery tickets ( i.e. Forward tipping dumper, Excavator , CAT scan )
- To be health and safety aware
This position would be better suited for someone with outdoor experience working in all weathers.
