About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and passionate Tattoo Academy Leader / Teacher to head up and further develop our in-house tattoo academy. Due to continued growth and exceptionally high demand for our training programmes, this is an exciting opportunity to step into a role with real momentum and potential.
You will play a key role in shaping the next generation of tattoo artists while also contributing to the day-to-day running of the studio.
Key Responsibilities
Academy Leadership & Teaching
- Lead and manage the tattoo academy, ensuring high-quality training delivery
- Plan, organise, and run tattoo training cohorts from start to finish
- Deliver practical and theoretical teaching to students at varying levels
- Provide mentorship, feedback, and ongoing support to academy participants
Academy Operations
- Manage all incoming academy enquiries and convert leads into enrolments
- Schedule and coordinate cohorts, ensuring smooth programme delivery
- Continuously improve course structure, content, and student experience
Creative & Marketing Input
- Redesign and develop academy marketing materials, including prospectuses
- Work alongside the team to enhance academy branding and outreach
- Contribute ideas to grow the academy and attract new students
Studio Work
- Deliver high-quality tattoo work within the studio during periods between academy cohorts
- Support the smooth day-to-day running of the studio, including stock management and general upkeep
- Uphold exceptional standards of hygiene, professionalism, and artistic excellence at all times
About You
- Experienced tattoo artist with a strong, professional portfolio
- Previous teaching, mentoring, or training experience (preferred)
- Confident communicator with strong leadership skills
- Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple responsibilities
- Creative mindset with an eye for branding and marketing
- Passionate about developing others and growing a creative education programme
