Position Overview:
Monday to Friday 8.00 - 17.00
Operation and General Maintenance of Atlas MH350 Handler with Grab Attachment + Hyundai HX235 Excavator with Powerhand VRS attachment for car dismantling.
- Loading/Unloading scrap metal and baling car shells
- Inspecting of metal scrap materials delivered and sorting
- Dismantling the car with the excavator attachment sorting different types of material (engines, wiring looms, axles etc.)
- Sorting some materials using the hand tools
- Daily inspections on equipment, fuelling, cleaning and greasing when needed
- Good awareness of health and safety on site
- Good time keeping.
Qualifications:
1. 1-2 years experience using an excavator or scrap handler in an Industrial/Outdoor work Environment.
2. Knowledge of heavy-equipment operating principles.
3. Ability to operate equipment under varying working conditions.
4. Mechanical background a plus.
5. Ability to effectively communicate in English is not necessary.
6. Ability to understand and carry out written and oral instructions.
7. Ability to meet attendance schedule with dependability and consistency.
8. Working Knowledge of hazards and safety precautions common to heavy equipment operations.
