Duties
Assist clients with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, dressing, and meal preparation.
Provide medication administration as per care plans and ensure compliance with health regulations.
Support clients with mobility and transportation needs, including driving them to appointments or social activities.
Maintain accurate records of patient care and report any changes in health or behaviour to the appropriate personnel.
Engage clients in meaningful activities that promote social interaction and mental stimulation.
Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualised care plans tailored to each client’s needs.
Provide emotional support and companionship to clients, fostering a trusting relationship.
Adhere to all health and safety regulations while maintaining a clean and safe environment for clients.
Qualifications
Previous experience in a similar role within healthcare settings such as nursing homes, assisted living facilities, or hospice care is preferred.
Certification in First Aid is advantageous.
Knowledge of medication administration protocols is essential.
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients, families, and team members.
A valid driving licence is required for transporting clients as needed.
Compassionate nature with a genuine desire to help others improve their quality of life.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Relevant qualifications in nursing or patient care would be beneficial but are not mandatory.

- Maintain accurate records of daily activities, progress notes, and any incidents in accordance with organizational policies.
Skills
- Strong mentoring abilities with a passion for empowering young people.
- Experience working with children or in a caregiving/support role is highly desirable.
- Excellent teaching skills to facilitate learning new skills and behaviors effectively.
- Compassionate communication skills to connect with children from diverse backgrounds.
- Ability to remain calm, patient, and adaptable in dynamic situations.
- Knowledge of safeguarding procedures and child protection policies.

Pay: £25,420.00-£37,167.30 per year
