Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, personalised service throughout their visit
- Take accurate orders and relay them promptly to the kitchen and bar staff
- Serve food and beverages in a courteous and timely manner
- Ensure guest satisfaction by checking in regularly and addressing any special requests or concerns
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the dining area, including tables, condiments, and utensils
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and maximise sales opportunities
- Adhere to food safety standards and health regulations at all times
- Assist with basic food preparation or side duties as required during quieter periods
- Manage multiple tables efficiently while maintaining a professional demeanour
- Handle cash transactions accurately and process payments in accordance with company procedures
Requirements
- Previous experience in hospitality or restaurant service is essential; Company standards training will be provided for suitable candidates
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and proper serving techniques
- Basic maths skills for handling bills and payments accurately
- Good organisational skills with the ability to manage time effectively during busy periods
- Strong communication skills and a friendly, approachable manner
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
