Job Role:
We require Boning Hall Operatives to work in our Newry Site. Working from 6:00am, Monday to Friday, this role requires flexibility and a willingness to work additional hours when required to meet customer demand in the preparation of a fresh product.
Working within the the butchery team to complete the daily planning order to a high standard ensuring that quality and pace are maintained.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:

Ensure that all products are packed to meet customer/company specifications whilst also maximising yield and minimising waste.

Packing of finished products - placing finished product into trays ready to be outer case marked.

Carry out all tasks in accordance with company policies and procedures, particularly with regard to health and safety and food safety.

Drive and deliver necessary processing efficiency through consistent and correct equipment operation.

Ensure strict adherence to quality, HSE, animal welfare, food safety, hygiene, ethical, product labelling and handling processes.

Follow traceability process and ensure product and labelling integrity at all times.

You will be responsible for boning and trimming the meat in line with customer/company specifications which are received to order.

You will be responsible for maximising the yield of the product and minimising waste to ensure production is as efficient as possible.

You will be required to undertake such duties as required in a safe manner.

You will also be required to fully engage in all aspects of training and communication.

As a meat process worker, you will be involved with the production of meat products for consumption as such personal hygiene is extremely important and you will be expected to pay close attention to this along with other regulations.
Knowledge and Experience
- Previous experience in a food production environment is desirable but not essential.
