Job Profile
The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting the Project Engineering team while developing their technical knowledge and practical experience within a fast‑paced electrical contracting environment.
This is an entry‑level role focused on structured training and development, providing exposure to project delivery processes, commercial awareness, and technical support activities. The role will support senior team members across a range of projects within the water and renewable sectors.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
· Support Project Engineers with day‑to‑day project activities
· Assist with project administration, ensuring documentation is accurate and up to date
· Support with electrical take‑offs and estimating activities
· Assist Project Engineers with ordering materials and tracking deliveries
· Maintain and update job information and records on Joblogic
· Help coordinate project schedules, documentation, and site information
· Liaise with suppliers and internal teams to support project delivery
· Ensure compliance with company processes, health & safety standards, and quality requirements
· Learn and develop technical knowledge through on‑the‑job training and mentorship
· Provide general support to the engineering and operations teams as required
Ideal Candidate Profile:
This role would be well suited to a recent graduate or individual at the early stages of their career with a keen interest in electrical engineering and project delivery. Candidates should hold, or be working towards, a degree or HND in Electrical Engineering (or a related field).
