We have an exciting new vacancy for a Deputy General Manager to join our team at The Grand Blackpool Hotel. Located on Blackpool’s famous North Promenade, this central Blackpool hotel boasts 274 bedrooms and is just a short walk from Blackpool centre.

Key Responsibilities:
- Support the General Manager in the day-to-day management and operation of the hotel, ensuring all departments work effectively together.
- Provide leadership and support to the hotel team, helping to maintain consistently high standards of service and guest experience.
- Monitor and analyse key performance indicators (KPIs), identifying opportunities to improve operational performance and revenue.
- Support the General Manager with achieving commercial targets across rooms, food and beverage, events and other revenue streams.
- Assist with ensuring the hotel remains compliant with company policies, industry standards, health and safety requirements and relevant legislation.
- Help develop and implement initiatives to enhance the guest experience, improve operational efficiency and increase revenue.
- Take responsibility for the smooth running of the hotel in the General Manager's absence.
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
- Previous experience in a senior hotel management position, ideally as a Deputy General Manager, General Manager or similar.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and support a large and diverse team.
- A strong understanding of hotel operations and commercial performance.
- Experience in event management and venue operations, with the ability to support successful weddings, events and corporate bookings.
- Excellent organisational and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities.
- A passion for delivering excellent customer service and ensuring every guest has a memorable stay.
