Cornwall Heritage Trust is a charity based in Redruth with the aim of preserving and strengthening Cornwall’s heritage. Last year we celebrated our 40th anniversary and took the time to reflect on the way in which the charity has grown and transformed during that time. With our new strategic plan starting this year we are focused on ensuring our organisational resilience and financial sustainability to ensure that we are able to champion Cornwall’s heritage for at least another 40 years!
We are looking for a well-organised self-starter to join our busy team. They will have excellent administrative skills, be a natural problem-solver, have an eye for detail and be a committed team player. A passion for Cornwall and its history goes without saying!
The successful candidate will provide day-to-day administrative support to the Senior Leadership Team; this will comprise management of diaries, inboxes, correspondence and liaison with external partners as well as providing support for various projects and programmes. In addition, it is anticipated that this role will work alongside our admin team to provide a welcoming and efficient first point of contact for the organisation and carry out the day-to-day administrative tasks as required. Some evening and weekend working may be required, however, plenty of notice will be given.
