We are seeking a kind, compassionate, and experienced Live-In Carer to support a lovely couple living on a beautiful working farm near Chippenham.
This is a fantastic opportunity to provide person-centred care while becoming part of a warm, welcoming rural home.
The gentleman:
- Lives with Parkinsonism and Lewy Body Dementia
- Mobilises independently using a walking stick
- Has a Parkinsonian gait and occasional pain affecting mobility
- Benefits from gentle prompting, reassurance, and encouragement
- Enjoys remaining actively involved in everyday life
- Values his independence and routine
You’ll provide:
- Time-critical medication administration
- Gentle prompting and encouragement with daily routines
- Companionship and emotional support
- Assistance with daily living while promoting independence
- Support with mobility as required
- A calm, reassuring, and consistent presence
- Beautiful working farm in rural Wiltshire
- Welcoming family environment
- Four friendly dogs are part of everyday life
- Comfortable private bedroom within the farmhouse
- Experience supporting clients living with Parkinsonism and/or Lewy Body Dementia
- Confident with time-critical medication administration
- Kind, patient, and reassuring
- Enjoys rural life and countryside settings
- Comfortable living and working around dogs
- Passionate about delivering person-centred care
