We are looking for enthusiastic, hard-working and resilient individuals to join our team. We require applicants to be able to work flexible hours and to be versatile. This position involves working on the bar. You'll take drink orders, take payment for orders, serve the drinks and clean the tables. You will need to work at a fast pace, have a positive attitude and be able to use your own initiative.
- A minimum of 1 years previous bar work experience.
- All candidates must be over the age of 18.
- This position will include late finishes, and applicants will need to be responsible for their own transportation.
- Flexiblity of working hours is a must.
- Both full time and part time positions available
- Esstenial working days: Thursday - Sunday. Applicants are required to work majority weekends and bank holidays.
Responsibilties:
- Preparing alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks
- Interacting with customers, taking drink orders
- Serving drinks and snacks
- Working as part of a team
- Staying guest focused and nurture an excellent guest experience
- Assessing customers needs and preferences and make recommendations
- Obtaining a vast amount of knowledge on the different types of drinks
- Keeping the bar area presentable and clean
- Cleaning tables in the pub, picking up empties glasses and washing them and putting them away
- Restocking and replenishing bar inventory and supplies
- Checking customers identification and confirm it meets the legal drinking age (Challenge 25)
- Complying with all food and beverage regulations
- Working under pressure and in a fast environment
- Taking payment for orders
Additional:
- Working knowledge of electronic till systems is desirable but regardless full training will be provided
- Cocktail making skills would be a great addition.
