Kitchen Supervisor (Term Time Only)
Location: Crackerjack Training, Birmingham
Hours: Monday–Friday, 10:00am–2:00pm (20 hours per week, term time only)
Salary: From £12.71 per hour (depending on experience)
About the Role
Crackerjack Training is looking for an enthusiastic and organised Kitchen Supervisor to manage our busy training centre kitchen. You will prepare fresh food and drinks for around 130 learners and staff each day, maintain excellent food hygiene standards, manage stock and help create a welcoming kitchen environment.
Key Responsibilities
· Prepare sandwiches, wraps, paninis, jacket potatoes, snacks and hot/cold drinks.
· Plan simple, appealing daily menus.
· Order food, drinks and kitchen supplies.
· Monitor stock levels and minimise waste.
· Receive and check deliveries.
· Operate the till/card payment system.
· Ensure high standards of cleanliness and food hygiene.
· Complete daily food safety and temperature records.
· Open and close the kitchen each day.
· Work closely with staff to provide an excellent service.
Essential Requirements
· Level 2 Food Hygiene Certificate.
· Experience working in a kitchen, café or catering environment.
· Excellent organisation and time management.
· Friendly and professional customer service skills.
· Reliable and able to work independently.
Desirable
· Experience ordering stock and managing suppliers.
· Experience supervising a small kitchen or café.
