Company Overview
Ferne Animal Sanctuary was founded in 1939 with the outbreak of the second world war by Nina the Duchess of Hamilton and Brandon to offer a safe refuge for animals displaced because of the conflict. Her work continues to this day at our 72 acre Animal Sanctuary in the heart of the Blackdown Hills on the Devon and Somerset border.
Currently with over 300 animals on site the need to support them has never been greater and our Charity Shops give much needed funding to the sanctuary.
