We are looking for an exceptional General Manager to lead our flagship restaurant from the very beginning and help create something truly special.
This is not a typical General Manager role. This is an opportunity to be part of creating a brand-new, premium dining destination, building the service culture, operational standards, guest experience, and team from the ground up.
The successful candidate will have extensive experience managing a high-end restaurant, with the confidence to lead a large team, deliver exceptional guest experiences and uphold the highest operational standards. You will work alongside our senior leadership team to establish NIPO as one of Newcastle's most exciting and sought-after dining destinations.

We Are Looking For
- An experienced General Manager with a proven track record in premium, high-volume restaurants.
- A passionate leader who inspires, develops and motivates high-performing teams.
- Someone who leads by example and sets exceptionally high standards across every aspect of the business.
- Outstanding organisational, financial and operational management skills.
- A strong focus on guest satisfaction, team engagement and attention to detail.
- Experience managing large teams while consistently delivering exceptional service.
- Confidence in recruitment, coaching, performance management and developing future leaders.
- Excellent commercial awareness with experience managing labour, stock control, budgets and profitability.
- Experience within premium dining, steakhouse, Japanese, fusion or luxury hospitality environments would be highly advantageous.
