Responsibilities
- Design, plan, and oversee electrical systems for commercial projects in accordance with industry standards and client specifications.
- Conduct site inspections and assessments to ensure compliance with safety regulations and project requirements.
- Install, test, and commission electrical equipment and systems, ensuring functionality and safety.
- Troubleshoot electrical issues promptly and efficiently during installation or maintenance phases.
- Collaborate with project managers, contractors, and clients to ensure timely delivery of projects within budget.
- Prepare detailed technical reports, drawings, and documentation as required.
- Maintain a high standard of health and safety practices on all sites and work areas.
- Utilise hand tools and power tools effectively to complete tasks accurately and safely.
Skills
- Proven experience in electrical installations
- Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools for installation, repair, and maintenance tasks.
- Strong understanding of electrical codes, standards, and safety regulations.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose issues swiftly.
- Effective communication skills to liaise with team members, clients, and stakeholders professionally.
- Organised with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously under tight deadlines.
- Electrical experience is essential; prior exposure to commercial projects is highly desirable.
