Duties
- Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems using hand tools, power tools, and pipe threading equipment on various sites.
- Read and interpret plans, schematics, and technical drawings to accurately execute plumbing layouts and modifications.
- Perform welding and pipe fitting tasks to connect pipes securely while adhering to safety standards.
- Conduct remodeling projects by assembling fixtures, fitting pipes, and updating existing plumbing infrastructure.
- Knowledge for system troubleshooting and integration when necessary on commercial projects.
- Lift heavy materials safely and perform demolition or assembly tasks as part of construction or renovation efforts.
- Follow detailed schematics and mechanical instructions to ensure precise installation of plumbing components in accordance with building codes and specifications.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in construction plumbing with familiarity in commercial or residential settings.
- Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, pipe threading machines, and welding equipment.
- Strong understanding of drawings, schematics, and mechanical systems related to plumbing.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while maintaining attention to detail during installation or repairs.
- Basic math skills for measurements, calculations, and layout planning.
- Knowledge of carpentry principles useful for remodeling or structural adjustments involving plumbing systems.
