We have a fantastic opportunity in Peterborough for a Static MOT Tester you will be within our busy workshop team carrying out MOT Testing on vehicles.
Big Motoring World Group is an expanding dealer group that is going from strength to strength and is looking to employ a Static MOT Tester at our NPC in Peterborough. This is an exciting opportunity to join a fast and progressive moving group as well as working alongside lots of other experienced technicians to help and support.

What we offer!
· Work Shift Pattern is 08:00am – 17:30pm, Monday - Friday
· Contracted Hours 42.5 hours per week
· Salary Base: £36,000 (based on experience and qualifications)

Duties and Responsibilities
· Conduct MOT Tests to the standards instructed by DVSA
· To work within DVSA framework.
· Plan and organise time effectively to ensure all tasks are completed within set deadlines, achieving efficiency.
· Ensure all the relevant documentation is accurately completed and all company procedures are followed
· To inform your Supervisor/Managers of any failings
· Maintain high standards of house-keeping
What we are looking for!
· Full UK Drivers Licence
· VOSA Approved and Qualified MOT Tester
· Good communicative skills and ability to understand and carry out written and verbal instructions
· Take pride and responsibility for your own appearance as well as the appearance and organisation of the site in which you work
· Literate, numerate, and proficient computer skills
· Systematic and organised; pays attention to the finer details
· Demonstrates an honest and diligent approach to work
· Prior experience of working to efficiency targets
· Team player
· Dealer experience preferable but not essential
