Kempshott under Fives is looking for an enthusiastic Preschool Manager (Term-Time Only). Could this be you?
Are you someone who naturally brings calm, warmth, and positivity into a room no matter how many small people are in it? Do you love helping children grow, play, discover, and laugh? If so, we’d love to meet you.
About Our Preschool:
We are a caring, community-minded preschool where every child is valued, heard, and celebrated. Our days are filled with curiosity, creativity, muddy boots, songs, stories, and lots of shared smiles. We believe in a gentle, child-led approach and in supporting our team just as much as we support our children.
Your Role:
As our Preschool Manager, you’ll be the guiding heart of our setting. You will lead a kind and dedicated team, work closely with families, and make sure our preschool is a safe, happy, and inspiring place to learn. Your days might include cuddles after wobbly moments, celebrating tiny achievements, supporting staff, and occasionally retrieving glitter-covered masterpieces from the art table!
What We’re Looking For:
- A warm, approachable leader with a Level 3+ Early Years qualification
- Strong experience within a leadership role
- Excellent understanding of what it takes to be successful manager, being an advocate of change and having a desire to always look to improve standards.
- Firm understanding of the EYFS and safeguarding
- Someone who loves working with children and truly understands their needs
- A good communicator who can build trusting relationships with families
- Someone who’s organised but flexible, confident but kind
- A sense of humour because life with little ones is full of surprises!
What We Offer:
- Term-time only hours, so the school holidays are yours to enjoy
- A supportive, friendly team who lift each other up
- A preschool full of laughter, imagination, and heart
- Opportunities to grow, learn, and shape our setting
- The joy of knowing you’re helping children feel safe, confident, and loved
This is a full time position (term time only).
