Core Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook daytime menu items including breakfasts, brunch options, and Light bites.
- Maintain excellent food hygiene, safety, and kitchen cleanliness in line with regulatory guidelines.
- Manage food stock levels, track inventory, and minimize waste.
- Handle, label, and store ingredients correctly.
- Work productively during peak morning and weekend service hours.
- Collaborate professionally with front-of-house staff to ensure smooth food delivery.
- Use a high speed commercial oven.
Skills and Experience Required
- Experience working in a commercial kitchen environment (such as a café, restaurant, or catering setting).
- Food Hygiene certification (Level 2 minimum, Level 3 preferred, or a willingness to attain it).
- Competence in food preparation and presentation.
- Excellent time-management skills and the ability to stay calm under pressure.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Availability to work shift patterns that include weekends.
- Must have the legal right to work in the UK.
