We are seeking a motivated and dependable Tractor Driver to join our dynamic team! Duties
- Operate tractors safely and efficiently for tasks such as plowing, planting, hauling, or land clearing.
- Conduct routine inspections of tractors and related equipment to identify maintenance needs or safety issues.
- Assist with loading and unloading materials using attached implements like front loaders or trailers.
- Follow all safety protocols and operational procedures to prevent accidents and ensure compliance with regulations.
- Maintain accurate logs of work performed, equipment usage, and maintenance activities.
- Collaborate with team members to coordinate daily tasks and meet project deadlines.
- Support the operation of additional machinery such as excavators when required for specific projects.
Skills
- Proven experience in commercial driving, particularly operating tractors or similar heavy machinery.
- Mechanical knowledge to perform basic troubleshooting and routine maintenance on equipment.
- Familiarity with operating excavators or other heavy construction machinery is a plus.
- Strong attention to safety procedures and ability to adhere to safety guidelines consistently.
- Good physical stamina and ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- Effective communication skills for coordinating with team members and supervisors.
- Ability to follow detailed instructions and work independently or as part of a team.
