Hyundai Birmingham West is looking for a highly organised and motivated Sales Administrator to join our busy dealership. This is an exciting opportunity to become part of a successful and customer-focused team, supporting the sales department and ensuring every vehicle handover runs smoothly and efficiently.
Previous motor trade experience is preferred, but we are also keen to hear from candidates with strong administration experience who are looking to build a career within the automotive industry.
The Role
As a Sales Administrator, you will play a vital role in supporting our Sales Team by ensuring all vehicle sales are processed accurately and efficiently.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Processing new and used vehicle sales from order through to delivery.
- Registering vehicles and preparing DVLA documentation.
- Managing vehicle funding and invoicing.
- Liaising with manufacturers, finance companies and internal departments.
- Ordering vehicles and monitoring stock.
- Maintaining accurate records and dealership systems.
- Preparing customer handover packs.
- Ensuring all compliance and manufacturer processes are followed.
- Supporting the sales management team with administrative tasks.
- Delivering exceptional attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
What We're Looking For
The ideal candidate will:
- Be highly organised with exceptional attention to detail.
- Have excellent administration and IT skills.
- Be confident using Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
- Be able to prioritise workload and work under pressure.
- Have excellent communication skills.
- Be professional, reliable and a team player.
- Have previous dealership Sales Administration experience (preferred but not essential).
- Be eager to learn and develop within the motor trade.
