This is a full-time salaried position offering £38,000–£40,000 per annum (depending on experience), based on an expected commitment of approximately 44 hours per week, including regular evenings and weekends in line with business requirements.

Pink Flamingo isn't just another restaurant.
We're an ambitious, independently owned Mediterranean seafood restaurant and premium cocktail bar in the heart of Haywards Heath, built around exceptional hospitality, outstanding food and memorable guest experiences.
We're looking for an experienced Restaurant & Bar Supervisor who wants more than simply clocking in for a shift.
We're looking for someone who wants to take ownership, lead from the front, inspire a team and become a key part of the next stage of our journey.

About You
You'll already have experience working in a fast-paced, high-quality hospitality environment and be confident leading a busy service.
You'll naturally take responsibility, remain calm under pressure and enjoy solving problems before they become problems.
You'll understand that great hospitality is about creating experiences, not simply serving food and drinks.
Essential Experience
- Minimum 5 years' experience in a busy restaurant, cocktail bar or premium hospitality venue.
- Excellent knowledge of wines, spirits, beers and classic cocktails.
- Strong front of house leadership experience.
- Confident opening and closing venues independently.
- Experience leading teams and motivating colleagues.
- Exceptional customer service skills.
- Excellent organisational skills.
- Comfortable dealing with complaints professionally.
- Ability to remain calm under pressure.
- A genuine passion for hospitality.
Your Responsibilities
- Lead front of house service.
- Run the bar.
- Supervise and support the team.
- Deliver exceptional customer experiences.
- Maintain cleanliness and presentation.
- Ensure licensing and compliance standards are maintained.
- Handle customer issues professionally.
- Work closely with Management to improve systems and standards.
- Support staff development and training.
- Help create a positive culture where everyone enjoys coming to work.
Working Pattern
- Approximately 44 hours per week
- Tuesday–Sunday (Closed Mondays)
- Weekend availability is essential
- Typical shifts between 11:00am and Midnight, with later finishes on Fridays and Saturdays when required
- Rolling rota with approximately one weekend in four off, subject to business requirements
