We are a rapidly growing fast food Peri-Peri flame grilled chicken franchise with over 150 stores across the UK alone! Our in Edinburgh fare are looking for enthusiastic individuals to join our team in a fast paced busy/friendly work environment.

We are looking for passionate, hard-working, reliable and friendly staff who are willing to learn. Ideal candidates should have previous experience in fast food or catering environment. Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively and efficiently within a team are required.

Job Position Available & Responsibilities
-Front of House Staff
- Till duties
- Serve customers “The Pepe’s Way”
- Present menu and provide detailed information when asked (e.g. about portions, ingredients or potential food allergies)
- Communicate orders to colleagues to provide effective and accurate service for customers at all times
- Keep the public areas of the store clean and tidy at all times
- Inform customers about the day’s specials
- Offer menu recommendations upon request
- Up-sell additional products when appropriate
- Take accurate food and drinks orders, using a POS ordering software
- Keep back of house tidy and safe at all times
- Communicate order details to the Kitchen Staff
- Serve food and drink orders
- Check weekly rota for days/hours of work
Requirements
- Proven relevant work experience (Not necessary)
- Hands-on experience with cash register and ordering information system (e.g. Revel POS or Toast POS)
- Basic math skills
- Attentiveness and patience for customers
- Excellent presentation skills
- Strong organisational and multitasking skills, with the ability to perform well in a fast-paced environment
- Active listening and effective communication skills
- Team spirit
- Flexibility to work in shifts when required
- Active individuals who are not lazy at work
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: £8.00-£11.00 per hour
