We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Bar Staff to join our team. As a key member of our hospitality environment, you will play an essential role in providing exceptional service to our guests while ensuring a welcoming atmosphere. Your responsibilities will include serving drinks, maintaining cleanliness, and contributing to the overall guest experience. A part time position with hours reflecting Leicester University's term dates. Perfect for a student. (Term time only)
Duties
- Serve a variety of drinks, including alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, in a timely and friendly manner.
- Ensure compliance with food safety and hygiene regulations at all times.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area, including washing glassware and disposing of waste appropriately.
- Engage with customers to provide recommendations and ensure satisfaction with their orders.
- Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently, utilising basic math skills for processing payments.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow during busy periods.
- Manage time effectively to prioritise tasks during peak hours while maintaining high service standards.
Skills
- Strong hospitality skills with a passion for delivering excellent customer service.
- Knowledge of food safety practices is essential for maintaining health standards.
- Previous experience in a restaurant or bar setting is highly desirable.
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and processing orders accurately.
