Position Summary
Euravia Engineering & Supply Co Ltd, a part of Magellan Aerospace Kelbrook, Lancashire has an exciting opportunity for a Mobile Repair Technician (Internal Only).
- Full-time-permanent position
- Weekdays are Monday-Friday 37.5 hours per week.
- Job location: Colne Road, Kelbrook, Lancashire BB18 6SN
Performing disassembly, inspection and rebuild of Pratt & Whitney PT6 engines to support both in-field customer requirements and hardware services in-shop, including final engine release to service certification. This role requires flexibility of working hours, due to national and international travel.

Essential Responsibilities
- In field disassembly, inspection & rebuild of Pratt & Whitney PT6 engines.
- Release to service of Pratt & Whitney PT6 engines in accordance with Euravia’s approvals and MOE.
- In field troubleshooting of customer’s technical issues regards Pratt & Whitney PT6 engines.
- Receiving, strip and assembly of Pratt & Whitney Canada PT6 engines.
- Ensure all tasks achieve agreed quality standards and deadlines in line with customer and Company requirements.
- Completing all required in house and external training in line with Company requirements.
- Liaise with customers on technical and commercial basis.
- Plan and execute MRT diary to ensure commitment to contractual obligations.
- Work with Compliance Department to ensure all MRT functions, tasks, manuals and tooling align with airworthiness requirements and Euravia MOE.
- Liaise with Customer Service Department and Business Development to ensure quotes meet commercial expectations and new business opportunities are identified.
- Ensure positive working relationships and open communications within and across functional teams to facilitate effective team working.
- Ensure compliance with Euravia’s Quality Systems
- Maintain the highest 6S standard
- Ensure compliance with H & S requirements and liaise with H&S manager as necessary
- Employee must be aware of, and adhere to, the Company’s Confidentiality Protection and IT Security Policies
- Completion of any other reasonable tasks as designated by your Line Manager
Position Requirements
Essential Criteria:
- Minimum of 5 years of MRO aerospace experience
- Extensive knowledge of aircraft engines, specification and standards
- Knowledge of Pratt & Whitney Canada PT6 engines
