Our products are fitted to a wide range of vessels, including luxury motor yachts and superyachts, naval vessels, fishing boats, pilot boats and commercial workboats.
We are looking to recruit either an experienced Polisher or someone looking to begin a rewarding career as a Trainee Polisher to join our Propeller Finishing Team at our Newton Abbot manufacturing facility.

The Role
As part of our Propeller Finishing Team, you will be responsible for producing high-quality finished propellers to the exacting standards our customers expect.
Depending on your experience, your duties will include:
- Grinding and polishing marine propellers to engineering specifications.
- Carrying out static and dynamic balancing operations.
- Working from engineering drawings and specifications (full training provided for trainees).
- Using hand-held power tools and precision measuring equipment.
- Maintaining high standards of quality, accuracy and workmanship.
- Following all Health & Safety procedures.
- Carrying out routine maintenance of equipment and keeping the work area clean and organised.
- Completing production and quality records as required.
About You
Experienced Polisher
You will ideally have experience in polishing, grinding or metal finishing within an engineering or manufacturing environment. Experience of working to engineering drawings would be advantageous.
Trainee Polisher
No previous polishing experience is required as full training will be provided. We are looking for someone who:
- Is practical and enjoys hands-on work.
- Has a positive attitude and is willing to learn.
- Has good attention to detail and takes pride in their work.
- Can work as part of a team.
- Has a good standard of basic education.
- Is comfortable using hand-held power tools (or willing to learn).
- Has basic computer skills (desirable but not essential).
