Job Overview
- Receive and take full ownership of Small projects assigned by the Senior Project Manager following triage.
- Act as the key coordination point from project handover through to delivery, ensuring projects are planned, organised and progressed efficiently.
- Send customer welcome communications using automated templates, ensuring a professional first point of contact.
- Review project scope immediately after handover, using construction industry knowledge and experience to identify potential risks, access issues, material requirements, labour requirements and other factors that could affect successful delivery.
- Manage material requirements, reviewing existing purchase requests, identifying outstanding requirements and liaising with Purchasing and suppliers to ensure materials are available when required.
- Assess whether site surveys are required and coordinate these with the appropriate Project Manager, Site Manager or Installer, providing clear project briefings.
- Prepare and maintain Risk Assessments and Method Statements (RAMS) where required, ensuring documentation is suitable for the works being undertaken.
- Develop detailed project delivery plans covering labour, installers/subcontractors, vehicles, materials, site access, scheduling, logistics and cost estimates.
- Ensure all project information is accurately recorded and maintained within company systems and project trackers.
- Handover completed delivery plans to the Operations team in accordance with the company's standard Project Management process.
- Identify projects that become more complex than initially anticipated and proactively escalate to the Senior Project Manager, while continuing to maintain day-to-day ownership.
- Manage the Projects inbox, allocating enquiries to the appropriate Project Manager and maintaining inbox zero each day.
- Chase outstanding material requirements, supplier updates and project information to prevent delays.
- Coordinate and schedule site surveys and ensure all relevant parties are fully briefed.
- File and maintain RAMS and other project documentation accurately.
- Liaise closely with the Sales team to obtain outstanding handover information and ensure projects are fully prepared before delivery.
ABOUT YOU
We're looking for an organised, proactive and customer-focused individual who enjoys managing multiple priorities and ensuring projects run smoothly from start to finish.
Essential Experience:
- Previous experience within the construction industry is essential.
- Proven experience in construction project coordination, project administration or a similar construction-based role.
- Good understanding of construction projects, site requirements and project delivery processes.
- Experience coordinating materials, suppliers, installers/subcontractors and site activities.
- Experience preparing or managing RAMS and construction project documentation.
- Strong organisational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and competing priorities.
- Excellent communication skills and confidence liaising with customers, suppliers, Sales, Purchasing, Operations and Project Managers.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to identify potential issues before they affect project delivery.
- Confident using project management systems, trackers and Microsoft Office.
- Ability to take ownership of projects while knowing when to escalate issues to senior management.

We have recently restructured our project delivery team and this is a new role that has been created with the goal of achieving specific improvements in customer service and improving our on time delivery standards.
Contracted hours and Location:
- Hours: Monday to Friday 8:00am to 4:30pm
- On-site role – Enderby, Leicester LE19 4SG
