Toilet Attendant - PKC14178
£23,325 - £24,366 (32.75 Hours per week)
Dunkeld Public Convenience, (Base is Pitlochry Depot)
You will be based at Dunkeld Public Convenience (PC).
The contracted shift pattern will be a 3-day rotation i.e. 3 days on – 3 days off. You should have a willingness to work over-time when required.
Duties include the day-to-day operation of a busy PC, ensuring that work is undertaken according to instructions received. The successful candidate will deal with the public on daily basis and must have good customer relations and communication skills and ensure the facilities are cleaned and stocked correctly.
Applicants must be numerate and literate and be comfortable with modern technology as you will be tasked with accepting card and cash payments and consolidation and security of those payments at the end of the working day.
You must be capable of carrying out the physical demands of the post and be able to communicate effectively with the members of the public and other team members and PKC colleagues.

To be successful in this role, you will be physically fit and be prepared to clean a busy public convenience.
You will have a strong constitution with regards to adverse odours and may be required to work overtime.
You will bring a positive energy and have the ability to work well as a lone worker and part of a team.
You will be aware of Health & Safety legislation. You will have the ability to carry out inspections, ensuring that your facility is safe for members of the public to use, any defects are reported to your Foreman/ Supervisor
A driving licence is not essential but would be desirable.
