Duties
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival and provide attentive, friendly service throughout their dining experience
- Take accurate food and beverage orders, ensuring special requests are noted and fulfilled
- Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation and cleanliness
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales opportunities
- Maintain a clean and organized front-of-house area, including tables, counters, and service stations
- Assist with food safety procedures by following proper handling and sanitation protocols
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and smooth service flow
- Manage guest inquiries or concerns promptly to ensure a positive dining experience
- Support team members during busy periods by helping with basic food preparation or setup tasks as needed
Requirements
- Previous experience in hospitality or restaurant service is preferred but not mandatory; enthusiasm and a willingness to learn are key!
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper serving techniques to ensure guest safety and satisfaction
- Basic math skills for handling bills, payments, and change accurately
- Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Strong communication skills to engage with guests confidently and courteously
- Kitchen or culinary experience is a plus, providing insight into food preparation processes
- Time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively during busy service hours
