SRE has been providing expert and solution-focused sustainability advice to key players in the built environment for over 20 years.
We are looking for an Office Assistant to play a key role in the day-to-day running of the business whilst working in a supportive and growing team.
The Role
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Reception – answering the phone, welcoming clients and visitors, receiving and distributing post
- Office Management – day to day running of the office (tidy kitchen and meeting rooms, water plants, ensuring printer has paper etc.)
- Hospitality – coordinating company functions such as lunches, training and client events
- Onboarding – assisting in new starter preparation
- Purchasing – ensuring adequate provision of stationary, kitchen and office supplies
- Accounts – raising sales invoices, supporting company Bookkeeper
- Office Equipment – liaising with IT support to ensure equipment is in good working order
- Administrative support – supporting the BM team with administrative tasks as required
- Events – arranging catering, accommodation, transportation etc. for events and conferences

Skills, Qualifications and Experience
Candidates will be expected to:
- Have a degree 2:1 or above
- Be a collaborative team player who strives for excellence in everything they do
- Be confident working in a growth-mindset and fast-paced environment
- Have can-do attitude, strong communication skills and good attention to detail
- Have strong IT skills, including the use of MS Office Outlook, Excel and Word.
The job will be full-time and will be based in Guildford, Surrey, 30 mins from London. Working hours are 8am – 5pm Monday – Friday. Salary will be dependent on experience and ability, within the range of £25-30k pa. There may be an opportunity to extend the position.
