Job Summary
We are seeking two dedicated and energetic Cleaner to join our team! In this vital role, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment across our facilities. Your proactive approach and attention to detail will ensure that all areas are spotless, hygienic, and well-organized. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to a positive atmosphere that supports the well-being of everyone who visits or works within our premises. The two vacancies available are for a 20 hour position per week, we require you to start on the 1st September 2026.
Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of all designated areas, including floors, windows, restrooms, classrooms, offices, and common spaces using appropriate cleaning tools and supplies
- Ensure all surfaces are sanitized according to health and safety standards
- Restock supplies such as paper towels, soap dispensers, and toilet paper to maintain continuous availability
- Dispose of waste properly and ensure recycling procedures are followed
- Maintain cleaning equipment by performing routine checks and reporting any repairs needed
- Follow safety protocols during cleaning procedures to prevent accidents or injuries
- Assist with periodic deep cleaning tasks, including carpet shampooing or window washing as scheduled
- Report any maintenance issues or hazards identified during cleaning activities to management
Experience
- Previous experience in commercial or residential cleaning is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided for the right candidate
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining high standards of cleanliness
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Knowledge of safe handling and use of cleaning chemicals and equipment
- Reliable and punctual with a positive attitude toward teamwork and customer service
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: £9,898.00-£13,197.00 per year
