Banshee of Savile Row, a luxury women’s tailoring house based on Savile Row, is seeking an experienced tailor to join our atelier on a freelance, part-time basis.
Location: 13 Savile Row, London
Hours: 2 days per week | 9:30am – 6:00pm
Rate: Competitive freelance rate depending on experience

ABOUT THE ROLE
We are looking for a highly skilled tailor with 10–15+ years of experience in luxury tailoring and alterations.
Working within our Savile Row atelier, you will assist in the development and alteration of bespoke garments crafted by hand using heritage and luxury fabrics. A strong understanding of garment construction, fittings, finishing techniques, and hand sewing is essential.
You will work closely with our creative director, pattern cutters, and clients on both bespoke and specialised pieces.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Luxury alterations on Savile Row suits, overcoats, skirts, and shirts
- Working with delicate and complex fabrics
- Assisting with fittings and alterations
- Understanding garment construction and finishing techniques
- Collaborating on VIP and fashion show pieces
- Maintaining exceptional standards of craftsmanship and attention to detail
REQUIREMENTS
- Minimum 10–15 years of tailoring experience
- Strong knowledge of sewing, finishing, and garment construction
- Experience with fittings and luxury alterations
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Excellent attention to detail and high-quality workmanship
