Full job description

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Reporting directly to the Production Manager, as a Loader Operative, you will be responsible for:

· Operating a modern telescopic loader with due care and attention
· Completing daily checks and light maintenance
· Sampling and recording moisture content on incoming loads
· Directing HGV’s and pedestrians around the facility
· Daily stock controlling to maintain appropriate supplies
· Adhering to strict health & safety standards
· Any other duties necessary to ensure optimal facility production

PREFERRED ATTRIBUTES

· Previous experience operating industrial machinery
· Good working knowledge of light maintenance duties
· Rough Terrain Telehandler license desirable, however full training can be provided
· Ability to work as part of a team and communicate effectively with others
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills
· Attention to detail for accurate record keeping
· Motivated attitude with a willingness to learn

ADDITIONAL NOTES

· Entitlement to work in the UK
· 4 days on/4 days off shift pattern
· 12-hour shift patterns (06:00 - 18:00)
· 20 days annual leave and public holidays

Pay: £28,000.00-£30,000.00 per year
