Responsibilities
- Install new roofing systems using a variety of materials such as shingles, metal panels, or membrane roofing while adhering to safety standards and project specifications
- Repair or replace damaged sections of roofs, including patching leaks and replacing worn-out components
- Utilize hand tools and power tools to cut, shape, and fasten roofing materials accurately and efficiently
- Perform carpentry tasks related to roof framing and support structures as needed
- Assist with construction painting, masonry work, plumbing connections, welding tasks, electrical wiring, and fabrication projects to support comprehensive roofing solutions
- Conduct inspections to ensure quality workmanship and compliance with building codes and safety regulations
- Maintain a clean work environment by organizing tools and debris removal at job sites
Experience
- Proven experience in roofing installation, repair, or related construction trades such as carpentry or masonry is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided for motivated learners
- Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and fabrication techniques is advantageous
- Basic understanding of construction painting, plumbing connections, electrical systems, and masonry work will enhance your versatility on-site
- Ability to read blueprints or technical drawings is a plus but not required
- Strong physical stamina with the ability to work at heights in various weather conditions
- Commitment to safety procedures and quality standards throughout all phases of work
