Role: Assistant Manager Full-time in person
Company Description: Sectorsure currently operate 9 forecourts in the South of England. We are a family run business and pride ourselves on being a tight-knit group that values its people. We are currently looking for an enthusiastic Assistant Manager or experienced Supervisor ready to step up and help us drive our business forward.
Role Description: As our Assistant Manager, you will work closely with the Store Manager to oversee all aspects of our forecourt and retail store operations and running the store at least 2 days per week. You will be a hands-on leader who leads by example, ensuring our customers get great service and out team feels supported.
Key Responsibilities:
Safety & Compliance: Act as a champion for safety, ensuring the site remains fully safe, legal, and compliant with all forecourt regulations.
Team Leadership: Assist the manager with staff recruitment, onboarding, training, and ongoing development.
Customer Excellence: Maintain high standards on the shop floor, ensuring excellent customer service and a welcoming environment.
Daily Operations: Manage stock, merchandising, and day-to-day problem-solving to keep the station running smoothly.
Flexibility: Step in to run the site in the Store Manager’s absence.
What We Are Looking For:
We want someone who understands the fast-paced nature of retail and loves working with people.
Experience: Current Assistant Managers or experienced Supervisors looking for a new challenge. A background in retail, convenience, or grocery is highly desirable (forecourt experience is a bonus, but not essential).
Safety First: A responsible mindset with an eye for detail regarding compliance and health & safety.
People Skills: A natural motivator who can coach a team and chat effortlessly with customers.
Flexibility: Someone who can adapt to changing priorities. We are open to both full-time and part-time applicants, but a degree of flexibility with shifts (including some weekends) is required.
